(STMW) — A man died Tuesday afternoon in what appeared to be an accidental fall in the Logan Square neighborhood on the Northwest Side, police said.

The 42-year-old man was discovered unresponsive in the 2500 block of West Medill at 2:05 p.m., police said.

Police said it appeared the man suffered an accidental fall while working. Area North detectives are conducting a death investigation.

The Cook County medical examiner’s office could not confirm the fatality Wednesday afternoon.
