(STMW) -- A south suburban woman is Cook County's 18th cold-related death of the season, authorities said Monday.

Debra Togtman, 49, was found in the 2200 block of 135th Place in Blue Island and was taken to MetroSouth Medical Center where she died at 12:30 p.m. Sunday, the Cook County medical examiner's office said.

Togtman also lived in Blue Island, in the 14100 block of South Western, the medical examiner's office.

An autopsy found she died of heart disease, and listed hypothermia due to cold exposure and chronic obstructive pulmonary disease as secondary factors, the medical examiner's office said. Her death was ruled an accident.

Her death is the 18th confirmed cold-related fatality this season in Cook County, according to the medical examiner's office. During the 2013-14 winter season, there were 32 confirmed cold-related deaths.
