Vandal Paints Swastikas On Garbage Cans In Beverly

(CBS) -- A homeowner in the Beverly neighborhood walked out Monday night to find swastikas scrawled across his trash cans.

White paint was used on the cans that sit in the alley.

The owner of the cans tells CBS 2 he is surprised and hopes the city acts swiftly when the offenders are caught.

"Death will come" was also scrawled on the side of the house.

Police say right now they are investigating the incident as property damage.
