He brushed aside questions Monday about why it took nearly a year to kick Rasheed Sulaimon off his team after he became aware of two allegations of sexual assault against him. You can bet that he, Duke University officials and some expensive lawyers are now crafting what to say next as professional reporters pick up where the courageous student journalists at The Chronicle left off.
Mike, why did nothing happen to Sulaimon until it was clear the story was out of the basketball program’s control and about to go public?

Why were separate investigations of each incident of the sexual assault of a student not initiated regardless of any report being filed, per federal requirement?
