CHICAGO (STMW) — A man was shot to death Thursday evening in the Humboldt Park neighborhood on the West Side.

About 8 p.m., the 24-year-old man was found unresponsive inside a vehicle in the 900 block of North Mozart Street, police said.

He had suffered a gunshot wound to the head and was pronounced dead at the scene, police said. The Cook County medical examiner’s office confirmed the fatality, but did not release additional details.

A police source said the man was a documented gang member.
