CHICAGO (STMW) — Two lanes remained closed on northbound I-294 near north suburban Glenview Friday morning after an earlier crash.

About 2:30 a.m., a vehicle traveling north on I-294 near mile post 48.25 struck two Illinois State Toll Highway Authority maintenance trucks that were parked in the far two right lanes as roadway work was being done, Illinois State Police said in a statement.

The vehicle struck one of the trucks, then continued to rear-end the other, police said. No one was in the tollway vehicles, and no injuries were reported.

The two right lanes near the crash remained closed as of 5:30 a.m. for investigation.

Police were still investigating whether to file charges.
