(CBS) 670 The Score will air a special tribute Sunday highlighting the life and career of the late Doug Buffone.

The one-hour commerical-free tribute will air after the conclusion of the White Sox postgame show. The White Sox-Royals game starts at 1:10 p.m. Sunday, so the tribute should begin late afternoon.

The Buffone tribute will be told by co-workers at The Score and former Bears teammates. It will also include some of the best Buffone soundbites over the years, as well as some never-before-heard audio.

Buffone passed away at 70 in April. He had a 14-year career with the Bears and was revered for his role as a Bears postgame host on 670 The Score, where his passion was second to none.
