Lightning May Have Sparked McHenry County House Fire
(CBS) -- A lightning strike may have caused a house in McHenry County to become engulfed in flames Wednesday evening.
A homeowner in the 600 block of Silver Glen in McHenry Township called 911 to report a lightning strike and minutes later the house went up in flames.
The house received extensive damage and the fire took about an hour to put out. No one was hurt.
