(CBS) The Bears have placed inside linebacker Shea McClellin into the NFL’s concussion protocol after he was experiencing symptoms following Sunday’s 38-17 loss in Minnesota.

McClellin is the third Bears player to enter the protocol after experiencing symptoms after a game. The same occurred for quarterback Jimmy Clausen after his start in Seattle during Week 3 and then for defensive back Sherrick McManis one week ago. McManis was cleared to return last Friday.
