CHICAGO (STMW) — A pedestrian was fatally struck by a Metra train Wednesday morning in west suburban Downers Grove.
BNSF Train No. 1252, running express from Aurora and scheduled to arrive at Union Station at 8:34 a.m., struck a pedestrian near the Downers Grove Main Street station just after 8 a.m., according to Metra spokeswoman Meg Thomas-Reile.READ MORE: Chicago Culture Celebrates The City While Giving Back To Youth For Black History Month
