Man Hospitalized After Being Found By Police In Bolingbrook Quarry
(CBS) -- A 70-year-old man has been hospitalized after being found in a quarry in west suburban Bolingbrook Sunday morning, according to the Bolingbrook Police Department.
Police from Bolingbrook and Naperville tracked the cell phone of the man, who had been reported missing, to a quarry on the northeast corner of Royce Road and Greene Road.
After a search Saturday evening was unsuccessful, police returned early Sunday morning and were able to find the man and his vehicle. He was in need of immediate medical attention and the Bolingbrook Fire Department transported him to a local hospital.
