Questions Remain For Family Of Jessica Suarez

CHICAGO (CBS) -- Friends and family are raising questions about the investigation into the death of a young woman who was found in Lake Michigan.

Police marine units pulled the body of 21-year-old Jessica Suarez from the water near Navy Pier last weekend.

She vanished February 24 after going for a jog near Montrose Harbor.

Loved ones spent several weeks posting flyers and searching for clues. At Jessica's visitation Sunday, they took time to thank everyone who helped get the word out.

"It wasn't the outcome we expected, but thank you so much for being there for us and to you guys for just making her name public because without you guys we probably wouldn't know what happened to her," Maricela Suarez.

So far, police do not suspect foul play, but the medical examiner is still investigating the cause of death.
