“This is the first time Barbie has featured an all-female ticket with both a president and vice president,” says author Carrie Goldman, author of “Bullied: What every Parent, Teacher, and Kid Needs to Know About Ending the Cycle of Fear.” “I think it’s an excellent way to show girls that women are strong enough to command the highest offices in the country.”

Both president Barbie and vice-president Barbie are part of the Barbie Careers line. Other dolls in the line include chef, firefighter and pilot Barbie.
