(CBS) In the first major move of the MLB offseason, star outfielder Yoenis Cespedes is returning to the Mets, according to multiple reports.

The deal is for four years and $110 million, according to Jeff Passan of Yahoo Sports.

Cespedes had 31 homers, 86 RBIs and an .884 OPS in 132 games last season, when he was an All-Star for the second time.

Cespedes’ return to the Mets comes five days before the start of the Winter Meetings, when more flurries of activity are expected — assuming there’s no lockout come later in the week as the league and union continue to work on a new collective bargaining agreement.
