CHICAGO (CBS) — A new CBS show, “Strange Angel,” debuts Thursday.

Carol Burnett took the stage at the Chicago Theater Wednesday night, but outside the theater there was something strange happening.

To promote the launch of “Strange Angel,” images from the show were projected onto the front of the Chicago Theater next to the marquee.

There were a number of curious people stopping to take pictures when passing by the display.

“Strange Angel” is based on the biography of rocket scientist Jack Parsons.

The show will be available to stream on CBS All Access.
