St. Walter Catholic Elementary To Stay Open
CHICAGO (CBS)--St. Walter Catholic Elementary School in Morgan Park needed to raise nearly $365,000 to avoid being closed down.
The faith-based Catholic school community kept the faith, never giving up until they met their goal.
St. Walter this week raised enough funds to keep their doors open for the remainder of this school year and next year, according to the school.
The school has been a fixture of Chicago's South Side for about 60 years.
