Man Found Impaled On Fence In Lakeview East

CHICAGO (CBS)--A man was found impaled on a fence in the East Lakeview neighborhood early Tuesday morning, Chicago police said.

Police responded to a call around 5:30 a.m. and found the person, who has not been identified, on the 3600 block of North Lake Shore Drive.

He was pronounced dead at the scene, a police spokesperson said.

Detectives are looking into whether the man jumped off a building.

Foul play is not suspected, according to police.

Area North Detectives are investigating.
