Adopt A Pet Today With 'Empty The Shelters' In The Chicago Area
CHICAGO (CBS)-- A nation-wide effort to help pets find homes is happening Saturday, and some Chicago shelters are participating.
The Bissell Pet Foundation is hosting its annual "Empty The Shelters" event.
The adoption fee at participating shelters is just $25.
All adoptable dogs and cats will be micro-chipped, spayed and neutered.
The local shelters participating include:

- PAWS
- One Tail At A Time
- Chicago Animal Care and Control
