Entire Chicago Board Of Education Steps Down

CHICAGO (CBS) -- All seven members of Chicago's Board of Education announced Wednesday that they would resign.

The board members were appointed by former Mayor Rahm Emanuel.

This makes way for Mayor Lori Lightfoot to appoint a brand new board.

However, there is also a move in Springfield to establish an elected school board.
