Driver Killed After Exiting Vehicle On Veterans Memorial Tollway
CHICAGO (CBS)--A driver was fatally struck when he exited his car on the Veterans Memorial Tollway Monday night.
Illinois State Police said Juan Espinoza was standing in the traffic lane before midnight after he got out of his Buick Encore.
He was struck by a white Honda being driven by a 24-year-old.
Espinoza died at the scene.
No charges have been filed.
