Wine Bottles Spill Onto Bishop Ford After Semi-Truck Crash

CHICAGO (CBS)-- Hundreds of wine bottles spilled onto the Bishop ford after a crash early Tuesday morning.

According to Illinois State Police, two semi-trucks collided on the Bishop Ford near Beaubien Woods. One of the trucks ripped open, spilling crates of wine all over the expressway.

As crews worked to clean up the bottles, two northbound lanes were shut down. All lanes are now open.

Police said both drivers were transported to a local hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
