Woman, 65, Found Strangled Inside Her Back Of The Yards Apartment
CHICAGO (CBS) -- A 65-year-old woman was found strangled inside her Back of the Yards home on Wednesday, after firefighters conducted a well-being check at her apartment.
Police said the property manager called 911 on Wednesday after she hadn't seen Margo Flowers in several days.
Firefighters forced their way into her home near Garfield and Laflin, and found her dead next to her bed.
An autopsy on Thursday determined Flowers had been strangled.
Area Central detectives were investigating.
