Two Pedestrians Struck By Vehicle In The Loop
CHICAGO (CBS) -- Two pedestrians were struck by a vehicle in downtown Chicago Friday afternoon, Chicago police say.
The 67-year-old woman and 20-year-old man were taken to Northwestern Memorial Hospital, 251 E. Huron St., in good condition after being struck in the 200 block of North Michigan Avenue, according to police.
The driver told police his brakes weren't working when he attempted to stop. He was given a citation for not having functioning brakes.
