Chicago Commuters Brace For A Morning Of Frigid Temperatures
CHICAGO (CBS)-- Commuters are trying to catch CTA buses and train, while bundled up and waiting in the cold.
With many roads now icy and sidewalks slippery, a lot of wait times and walk times were are longer than usual.
Overnight, the temperatures was 11 degrees and feels like below zero.
"Well, I didn't expect it this early," commuter Patrick Green said. "It came on us like a ton of bricks and I have to get some warmer clothes."
Officials recommend allowing for more time in the morning commute.
