15-Year-Old Stabbed On Northwest Side

CHICAGO (CBS) -- A 15-year-old boy suffered lacerations to the chest and hand Friday afternoon, Chicago police say.

The boy was walking southbound on Leclaire at Fullerton around 4:40 p.m. when two males approached him, police say, and one produced a knife.

The male then stabbed the teen and both males fled northbound on Leclaire, according to police.

The 15-year-old was taken to John H. Stroger Jr. Hospital in good condition.

No offenders are in custody. Area North detectives are investigating.
