Firefighters Rescue Woman Trapped In Basement During Peotone House Fire
CHICAGO (CBS)-- A woman was rescued from a house fire in south suburban Peotone.
Thick smoke filled the air at 708 Pelican Lane, just before midnight.
The house fire sent homeowners and neighbors out into the street in a subdivision.
Firefighters rescued one woman who was trapped in the home's basement. The woman is in critical condition.
No other injuries were reported and the cause of the fire is still not known.
