1984 Apple Macintosh Computer Sold At Auction For $120,000
CHICAGO (CBS)-- In 1984, Apple launched its ground-breaking Macintosh computer. This early prototype was sold at an auction Thursday for $120,000.
The computer still works, there's just one problem, a glitch in the floppy disk.
The computer has the signatures of the developers molded inside and it's one of only two known to exist.
The late Apple CEO Steve Jobs wanted the prototypes destroyed because they weren't the final product.
