Man Shot, Killed In Auburn Gresham Alley
CHICAGO (CBS) -- A man is dead after being shot in the head in the Auburn Gresham community late Friday.
The shooting happened around 10:25 p.m. in the alley behind the 1600 block of West 79th Street, near Ashland Avenue, police said.
The 31-year-old man was found at the scene with a gunshot wound to the head, police said.
He was pronounced dead at the scene.
No one was in custody Saturday morning and Area South detectives were investigating.
