Car Shot On Northbound Dan Ryan Expressway; 2 Injured
CHICAGO (CBS)-- Two people were injured in a shooting on the Dan Ryan early Wesnesday morning.
The shooting happened around 1 a.m. right where the Dan Ryan and the Stevenson Expressway meet.
According to Illinois State Police, the driver was transported to a local hospital due to a gunshot wound. The front seat passenger was also transported as a precaution due to flying glass debris.
Officials have recovered at least five shell casings.
Lanes have been reopened.
