CHICAGO (CBS)– An explosive device was located by men fishing at the Little Calumet River bridge in Gary, Indiana.

Gary police said the men pulled in what appeared to be a live grenade.

The road was closed off as Porter County bomb squad took possession of the grenade.

Officials are investigating how the explosive device got into the river.
