Kris Bryant Says He's In Good Place After Talk With Theo Epstein, Expects To Be On Cubs' Opening Day Roster

MESA, Ariz. (CBS) -- There was a clearing of the air in Mesa, Arizona Tuesday as the Cubs prepare to begin Cactus League play this coming Saturday.

Kris Bryant met with President of Baseball Operations Theo Epstein Tuesday, and they talked about their awkward offseason.

But Bryant said he is in a good place after the conversation and expects to be on the Cubs' opening day roster.

The Cubs take on the Oakland A's at Sloan Park on Saturday afternoon.
