Coronavirus Fallout: Student Loan Payments Suspended, ACT, SAT Tests Canceled

(CBS) -- President Trump today ordered federal lenders to allow people to stop paying on their student loans, for at least 60 days.

Also, the Department of Education is canceling all standardized testing, because of school shutdowns across the country.

College admissions tests are on hold. The groups that administer both the SAT and the ACT have cancelled their testing dates for April and May. Registered students, whose testing dates were canceled, are supposed to receive refunds.
