Rush University Medical Center Research Project Tests For COVID-19 Antibodies

CHICAGO (CBS) -- A possible breakthrough in the fight against the coronavirus is in Chicago. Rush University Medical Center is giving students and employees COVID-19 antibody tests in a major research project that could help millions around the world.

The antibody tests will help determine if the rate of infection is higher than previously thought.

Researchers caution positive antibody tests are no guarantee people can't or won't get sick but can provide a better understanding of the virus.
