Man Shot, Killed In West Garfield Park
CHICAGO (CBS) -- A man is dead after being shot in the West Garfield Park neighborhood early Tuesday afternoon.
Police were called to the 3800 block of West Adams Street at 12:03 p.m., and found the 20-year-old man on the sidewalk with gunshot wounds to the chest and groin.
The victim was taken to Stroger Hospital of Cook County, where he was pronounced dead, police said.
Area Four detectives were investigating.
