Chicago Weather: Cooler Temperatures; Rain Chances Ahead This Weekend

CHICAGO (CBS)-- Cooler and more comfortable temperatures have arrived.

Friday will be mostly cloudy with temperatures near 80 degrees. Areas near the lakefront will be cooler with temperatures in the 70s.

Gusty winds will bring big waves at the shoreline and create strong rip currents.

Partly sunny skies are expected Saturday with a slight chance for a scattered shower in the afternoon. Better chances for scattered showers and thunderstorms return on Sunday and Monday.
