BREAKING: 12-Year-Old Boy Shot In Woodlawn Neighborhood
CHICAGO (CBS) -- A 12-year-old boy was shot in Chicago's Woodlawn neighborhood Friday night, police confirm.
The boy was standing in the park in the 6400 block of South Ellis with a group shortly after 8 p.m. when shots were fired.
He was taken to Comer Children's Hospital in fair condition with gunshot wounds to the right leg.
No one is in custody. Area One detectives are investigating.
