CHICAGO (CBS) -- We reached 71 degrees Thursday.

It was not a record, but CBS 2 Meteorologist Mary Kay Kleist thinks Sunday, we have the best chance to reach record warmth.

The low for Thursday night is 47 with clear conditions. The high for Friday is 71 and for Saturday 72, with sunny conditions both days.

On Sunday, it will be mostly sunny and breezy with a high of 74. The record for Nov. 8 is 73, set in 1931.

Temperatures will stay a good 15-20 degrees warmer than normal through Monday. The sunny and dry pattern dominates.

A strong cold front moves in Tuesday with rain and falling temperatures.
