Vacant House Fire Spreads To Second Home In Gresham; 2 People Displaced
CHICAGO (CBS)-- Flames erupted at a vacant home in the Gresham neighborhood and then spread to the house next door overnight.
Officers saw the fire and rushed to wake up the neighbors just before 2 a.m. on Normal and 79th Street.
With icy conditions, firefighters had to deal with the fire and frozen hydrants.
Two people in the second home were displaced.
No one was injured.
