Chinese Lunar New Year Comes Friday

CHICAGO (CBS) -- Say goodbye to the Year of the Rat and hello to the Year of the Ox for the Chinese Lunar New Year.

The Lunar New Year this year falls on Friday, Feb. 12.

Typically, there is a rush to China to celebrate. But experts said travel to the country is down 74 percent because of the coronavirus pandemic.

Even restaurants and businesses in Chicago's Chinatown said they have taken a huge hit.
