Man Shot Dead In Brainerd Neighborhood
CHICAGO (CBS) -- A man was shot and killed early Sunday in the Brainerd neighborhood.
At 3:55 a.m., the 32-year-old man was found outside a home in the 9100 block of South Emerald Avenue with a gunshot wound to the back, police said.
He was taken to Advocate Christ Medical Center in Oak Lawn, where he was pronounced dead.
Police late Sunday had not located any witnesses to the shooting. Area Two detectives were investigating.
