SUV Plows Into Hair Salon In Prospect Heights

PROSPECT HEIGHTS, Ill. (CBS) -- A sport-utility vehicle plowed right through the storefront window of a hair salon in Prospect Heights Tuesday evening.

It happened at a men's hair salon in a strip mall in the 1200 block of North Elmhurst Road in Prospect Heights.

A witness says they heard a loud boom, and then the ground shook.

It was not clear late Tuesday if anyone was inside the salon, but fire officials told us no one inside the SUV was injured.
