Recall Of At-Home COVID Tests, Some Readings Give False Positive

CHICAGO (CBS) -- Nearly 200,000 at-home coronavirus tests are being recalled after multiple false positive results.

A false positive signals that a person is infected with the virus when they are not.  Test maker Ellume said it is recalling dozens of lots that were shipped to retailers like Walmart, CVS, Target and Amazon between April and August of this year.
