Woman, 21, Charged In September Carjacking In East Garfield Park
CHICAGO (CBS) -- A 21-year-old woman has been charged in connection with a September carjacking in the East Garfield Park neighborhood.
Police said Deja Collins was arrested Tuesday in West Garfield Park, after she was identified as one of the carjackers who stole a vehicle by force from a 31-year-old woman on Sept. 19 in the 3900 block of West Washington Boulevard.
Collins is charged with one felony count of aggravated vehicular hijacking, and is due to appear in bond court Wednesday afternoon.
