CHICAGO (CBS) — Chicago musician John Prine will be honored with a street in his name at 11 a.m. Saturday.

The singer and songwriter was involved in Chicago’s Old Town School of Folk Music at the start of his long career.

The honorary John Prine way street sign will be revealed at Armitage and Dayton in Lincoln Park. A live performance from Old Town will follow.

Prine died last year after experiencing COVID-19 symptoms.
