Man Wounded When 3 Gunmen Open Fire In East Garfield Park

CHICAGO (CBS) -- A man was wounded when three different men fired shots at him Tuesday evening in the East Garfield Park neighborhood.

At 6:20 p.m., the 43-year-old man was near an alley in the 3100 block of West Warren Boulevard when three men came up, took out guns, and fired shots, police said.

The victim was struck in the abdomen and self-transported to Stroger Hospital of Cook County in good condition.

No one was in custody late Tuesday. Area Four detectives were investigating.
