"Day of the Child" Health Walk and Family Festival promotes healthy lifestyles, and the festival is free. Kids and their families can enjoy art activities, entertainment, free health screenings, physical fitness and much more. The day will begin at the National Museum of Mexican Art, and a two mile walk will start at the museum and end at the UIC Forum, where the festival will take place.

Kids and adults can touch and explore large vehicles such as dump trucks, semis, tractors, emergency vehicles, tractors and much more. Food, treats and kiddie train rides are all offered at this day of fun, with proceeds benefitting the Kohl Children's Museum. This annual event is enjoyed by family members of all ages.
