(CBS) – In the wake of paralympic champion Oscar Pistorius being charged with murdering his girlfriend, Nike has removed a now-ironic ad from the sprinter’s website.
Pistorius, who allegedly shot his girlfriend to death early Thursday morning, had an advertisement on his website that said “I am the Bullet in the Chamber.”
The “bullet in the chamber” reference refers to how quickly Pistorius leaves the starting blocks at the beginning of a race.
