CHICAGO (CBS) — Monday’s temperature at O’Hare dropped to 16 below zero, setting a record for January 6.

That comes within four degrees of the 15 coldest days ever in Chicago.

The coldest day ever happened nearly 30 years ago on Jan. 20, 1985.

It was 27 degrees below zero that day.
