Chicago Public Schools Cancel Classes For Friday

CHICAGO (CBS) -- Chicago Public Schools have canceled classes on Friday, due to the snow.

It is rare for CPS to cancel school, but the forecast for Friday calls for up to 14 inches of snow. As much as 20 inches could fall in some Chicago areas by the end of the day on Saturday.

In 2015, CPS canceled classes due to extreme cold.
