Eagle Scout To Donate Nearly 200 Backpacks Filled With School Supplies

CHICAGO (CBS) -- Remember that Eagle Scout we told you about a few weeks ago, who was collecting school supplies for students in need?

17-year-old Nicholas Brown set out to fill 25 backpacks with supplies.

We're happy to share with you that he was able to donate nearly 200 backpacks filled with supplies.

He's still receiving donations. The supplies will be handed out during a back-to-school event at Sweet Holy Spirit Church on the city's South Side.
